The TCT Show has become one of the key events in the design engineering calendar and we will be there at Stand B21. The show is running on the 28th and 29th September, so if you haven’t ordered your tickets yet, please pick them up here.
We will be exhibiting our exciting new software tools at the show. We will be demonstrating both the latest version of the standalone LimitState:FORM software, and also a brand new LimitState:FORM plug-in for Ansys SpaceClaim. We will also be showing our industrial strength STL file fixing tool, LimitState:FIX.
If you’re at the show please come over so you see for yourself the power of our LimitState:FORM optimization software. As our customers are discovering, you can save significant amounts of weight and material, and the software is really fast. Not only does it typically provide solutions in seconds or minutes, when other software can take hours or days, but the workflow is fluid and swift, so you can make rapid progress with your design problem.
Our optimization technology is getting a lot of attention because it is genuinely groundbreaking, based on cutting edge research undertaken by the University of Sheffield’s world-renowned Centre for Advanced Additive Manufacturing. The University’s Professor Matthew Gilbert will be doing a keynote presentation on the optimization technology involved at 1pm on Wednesday 28th. Professor Gilbert is also speaking on the Tech Stage at 2pm on Thursday 29th, explaining how ANSYS SpaceClaim direct modelling technology has been used to develop a fully integrated solution for the conceptual design of AM components.
The word is spreading that design optimization can be fast, efficient and easy, so we have a presence elsewhere at the show. Our partners Cadventure will also be showing the software at Stand C28, and of course LimitState:FORM will be available to on demo at the ANSYS SpaceClaim booth at stand B16.
